ST_Contains

This predicate checks if a geometry contains another geometry. For example:
create.select( field(stContains( stGeomFromText("POLYGON ((-3 -1, -1 -1, -1 1, -3 1, -3 -1))"), stGeomFromText("POINT (-2 0)") )), field(stContains( stGeomFromText("POLYGON ((3 -1, 1 -1, 1 1, 3 1, 3 -1))"), stGeomFromText("POINT (4 0)") )) ).fetch();
The result being, for example
+-------------+-------------+ | ST_Contains | ST_Contains | +-------------+-------------+ | true | false | +-------------+-------------+
