UPPER

The UPPER() function transforms a string into upper case.

SELECT upper('hello');
create.select(upper("hello")).fetch();

The result being

| upper |
+-------+
| HELLO |
+-------+

Dialect support

This example using jOOQ:

upper("hello")

Translates to the following dialect specific expressions:
