Can we purchase using a quote / PO / invoice process?

We can quote you for payment by invoice if you're ordering a larger volume of licenses. Otherwise, please purchase by credit card to keep administrative efforts at a minimum for both parties.

Can we purchase via reseller?

Please do! Resellers help keeping administrative efforts low by standardising the quote / PO / invoice process for both parties. Our preferred resellers are listed here.

Can we attach our own purchasing terms to our PO?

Please do not attach purchasing terms to your PO as we will reject it. We cannot allocate any resources or budget to due diligence, given our competitive list pricing. Our many existing customers who have accepted our standard terms appreciate that we will not increase our pricing to allow for the occasional, unnecessary legal risk.

Specifically, we will not accept any purchasing terms that will attempt to alter our standard terms, including but not limited to alterations of provisions related to our IP, NDA, warranties, liability, jurisdiction, applicable law.

Clarifications of language and executed standard agreements are OK, if you're ordering a larger volume of licenses.

Will you complete our complex set of compliance questionnaires?

While some minimal amount of compliance and regulatory checks are OK, please understand that:

• jOOQ is a software library, not a server or SaaS. You will embed jOOQ into your software. We don't run any software on your behalf, nor do we process your data. This means that most questions related to GDPR and related compliance, security and penetration testing, etc. are not applicable. Please offer a way to skip any unnecessary bureaucracy on your end.
• Our list pricing is very competitive. We cannot keep it this way if a purchasing process binds resources unnecessarily that could otherwise be allocated to making a better product for your engineers.
