LENGTH (binary)

The LENGTH() function calculates the length of a given binary string.
SELECT length(cast('hello' as bytea));
create.select(binaryLength("hello".getBytes())).fetch();
The result being
+--------+ | length | +--------+ | 5 | +--------+

Dialect support
This example using jOOQ:
binaryLength("hello".getBytes())
Translates to the following dialect specific expressions:
