ST_Equals

Applies to ❌ Open Source Edition   ✅ Express Edition   ✅ Professional Edition   ✅ Enterprise Edition

This predicate checks if a geometry is "spatially equal" to another geometry (i.e. the ordering of points is irrelevant for this equality). For example:

create.select(field(stEquals(
  stGeomFromText("LINESTRING (-1 -1, 1 1)"), 
  stGeomFromText("LINESTRING (1 1, -1 -1)")
))).fetch();

The result being, for example

stDisjoint(geometry1, geometry2)

Translates to the following dialect specific expressions:
